I have a Compaq Presario F500 and it won't start up

When I press the power button, it lights up for about 1 second, during which the power light, hard drive and disk drive lights will light up,do only one bip and then it will promptly switch itself off again.Please help me!Thanks

    Hi friend plz follow these steps
    1- Take out the battery pack and unplug the AC Power.
    2- Hold the power button for 1 min.
    3- Only plugin the AC power this time and try starting up.
